D Dance Glass is a handmade glass-blowing studio and gallery on Tashtego Crescent on Gabriola Island, run by artists Dirk Huysman and Mary Ann Richards. Built in 2012 with a viewing gallery above the hot shop, it lets visitors watch glassblowing in real time and take in ocean views from the deck. The studio makes functional pieces such as goblets, vases and bowls, plus decorative glass balls and spirit dancers, open by appointment.
